WSJ: U.S. confident it can prosecute Julian Assange

Neither are illegal aliens.

Does the Espionage Act violate the 1st amendment? (Assuming that is what he is charged under…)

We’ll see, won’t we?

President Trump should just pardon him and be done with it.

Stick to the subject homeslice.

Worry about your own posts.

No need to dogpile. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I would imagine this is a pretty powerful lobby

I wonder where they’ll fall?

Nice non sequitur.

Amazing that that had to be pointed out. More amazing that more people have not complained about foreign interference – and I’m referring to WikiLeaks not Russia – in our election.

Why defend Assange?

Are you implying Assange is a journalist? He’s not.

Another meaningless indictment that just pads the talking point of “look at all that this investigation has uncovered” so they pick at manifort, that kid and a bunch of faceless russians🤷🏻‍♂️ oh the horror!

Oh, it follows.

He’s the press.

Of course he is.

Funny, journalists – those who know the business – don’t think so.

Funny, their opinions are worth absolutely nothing.

They’re worth more than that of some anonymous internet pundit.

And you might want to read the SPJ Code of Ethics.

Avoid undercover or other surreptitious methods of gathering information unless traditional, open methods will not yield information vital to the public.

Who is an internet pundit and why?

Every journalist doesn’t belong to the little snowflake club.
