The World Boxing Council (in a show of common sense all too rare in sports these days) have created a transgender category.
The President of the WBC has indicated that natural born females will never have to face a transgender female boxer.
Glad to see this common sense move and perhaps the spineless cowards running other sports could follow this example.
Natural born female athletes should never be required to compete against other than natural born females.
Wow. Boxing. Given the nature of the sport, you wouldn’t expect common sense. 
This is still a game where you beat your opponent’s brain into hamburger. Seems too late to get squeamish about genders at that point.
Regardless of what people might think of boxing as a sport.
It is brutal.
Allowing males to compete against natural born females (which is essentially is what is happening when a transgender female competes against a natural born female) would make things much more brutal.
But more than that, it makes a total joke out of women’s sports.
Lia Thomas is a thief.
She didn’t win those medals in any way that was close to fair. She stole them, just as if she had walked into a person’s house and stole them off the shelf.
Transgender females should either compete in a separate transgender category in all sports across the board or compete against males, never against natural born females.
WBC at least got this bit of common sense right.
Thanks for making it fair again. 
Anyone that has paid attention on the boards for the last 20 years has probably figure out that I don’t particularly care a rat fart about what two consenting adults do, how people choose to dress or lead their lives.
But trans females in female sports is just something that hasn’t passed the smell test for me and I’m fine with limitations on trans athletes being required to participate in the sport classification which matches their biological profile.
