I don’t automatically assume a woman in a position of authority is there only because she’s a woman. That seems to be the position you’re taking here. Is that incorrect?

Yes, that’s incorrect. I’ve had a few female bosses over the years and they were very worthy of their positions, and I never thought of them as affirmative action hires.
None of them wore their sexuality on their sleeves, to make it their identity. The LGBTQ community can’t wait to let everyone know their identity because they know it will get them points in hiring, protection from being fired, etc. It’s as if they are part of a union.

Correct. Especially in the military.

It’s much more common than most realize. It’s good to se NJ parents fighting back against this nonsense!

My post was about CRT, not “trans policies.”

“Trans policies” is critical theory. It all spawns from the same demented minds.

It’s a virus. A cancer. In academia it is as common as air.

The question would not arise if the policy was non-discrimination instead of DEI.

Selection of commanders should be discriminatory.

We can’t be having that now can we?

Personally, I don’t mind referring to AOC as an it.
