there isnt. as long as their “diverseness” is not a factor in the hiring process

I don’t care how good of a coder you are, if you don’t fit with the team… I’m not hiring you.
the one where you said you seek diversity in your candidates.
you are going to try to tell the universe that that’s not what that means now.

Have you done the research yet? Not sure who thoughts I should take? Any of the fortune 50 or you?
Hmm
Where did I say
“I seek diversity in my hiring”
Quote it.
take your pick.
but your “research” will not credibly show staffing benefits from hiring based on “diversity” because diversity is not an end unto itself like you are programmed to believe.
quote where i said you said that exact quote
see how stupid your games are?
This is just rambling at this point. How do you know what the research says when you haven’t looked into it?

How does the team know until they work together? Gut reaction? How do you ensure that the team members are not using their own prejudices and biases in their assessment as to whether they get along? How do you know they aren’t racist or sexist or gender phobic? Surely you don’t think that just because you hired them that they are free of personal bias, do you?

I won’t know everything prior to hiring them. But there are red flags that we look for. “I work better alone” would be a good example. If I need a team player, that’s a red flag.
What you are asking for is not hard to weed out during the interview process but it’s not perfect. Bad fits slip through the cracks.

If that’s one of your criteria, it should have been made clear during the solicitation.
But that’s only one flag. Surly that’s not the only subjective factor in your process.
What?
Have you ever been a hiring manager?
You are asking questions or making statements that are table stakes.
I literally said it’s one example.
because i am not a programmed leftist robot
i noticed you didnt offer up any of your “research”
Facts and reality do tend to have a leftist bias.

Not at all.
You said I did. I asked for a quote. You deflected. Period

Yes, I have hired engineers. Not as a full-time duty, but as the engineering manager of the team of engineers under my supervision. It was made clear in the job description that the position had to work not only with peer engineers, but with the greater team of support personnel resources as well.
C’mon man, you gave one example to a general question. Don’t get all huffy just because I asked you for more. Surely there must be more …
yeah i know - “woke works - just do your research!”
total fail. again. i never said you said that “exact” thing
you realize no one in this forum is following this ridiculous back-and-forth right?
anyway you said, essentially, your hiring process is based on diversity, at least in part
i’ll show everyone again where you said that - here:
it is what it is
