I suppose the same argument could be made if she wasn’t wearing a shirt at all. But in practice, cleavage is sexual, meant to arouse sexual interest and known to cause sexual interest. In some perfect utopia I suppose women could walk around naked and not arouse the sexual interest of males because it wasn’t her intent to cause that sexual interest but in practice, forget about it.
If you want to ignore reality I suppose you could agree when your daughter decides to go to school without a shirt because it’s hot. But you can bet in the real world, someone is going to grope her.
In that particular picture there is barely anything showing. Most women dress like that for work and most aren’t going to work looking for sex.

Arousing sexual interest doesn’t always mean you are looking for sex. And she isn’t a grown woman.
Well they aren’t going to work looking to arouse sexual interest either.

They may not think of it in those terms, but when they think, this shirt is flattering, makes me more attractive, they are.

How about her lips, smile, blue eyes? those can be sexualized. maybe we need to cover them up. Which of these coverups do you prefer?

how about just enforcing the schools dress code?

He (D)idn’t mean anything bad by it. Just ask his voters.

In my opinion, in that picture, I agree.
There are two levels of discussion going on here. One is about the specific picture. The other is the overall principle that there ARE (or at least should be) boundaries.
Apparently 80 such photos were altered. We’re only being given one or two examples. Likely some did cross a reasonable boundary. But once Pandora’s box was opened, the editors intervened as well on photos that didn’t really cross the boundary.
Wow agreement. There is hope yet.

Well, there’s hope for you.
What was the point of adding that to your post? Gotta act like a jerk in every post?
Not jerkish behavior.
An over reaction from a positive post of mine.
Get over yourself.
I was being positive, not negative with that comment.
Allan
Agreement is a positive not negative.

This is the entirety of argument. 100 percent this.
A lot of the positions trying to explain it further are gross imo
No It’s not the same argument. The sexualizaiton and reading of motive is coming from the perspective of an outside obeserver. An adult.
The reality that’s being ignored here is that apparently women/girls must ignore their body image and not act in any way that may boost their personal confidence lest they offend adults or turn boys on. Because all they are doing is sexualizing themselves apparently. Gross
Same with the censorship of democratic agents such a F.B. and Twitter.

It’s always the female that have to adjust or change. Never the boys.

Like I said, feel free to ignore reality.
Yeah this is a super healthy way to look at young women and have young women look at themselves.
In practice cleavage is not sexual. That’s basically saying that women only dress to turn on men! This is the “she shouldn’t have been dressed this way” way of thinking.
