Like I said. I’m talking about family generations. I have. 3 great aunts and uncles… 8 aunts and uncles… 2 grandparents, parents etc that were all alive pre 1964. 1 as far back as 1925.

Generations in this context are between 20 and 25 years. I use 25, people are waiting longer.

Not my context. When someone lobs “you are living in the past” my immediate reaction is “I know several people still alive who suffered from Jim Crow”

I’m 4 FAMILY generations removed from slavery (great great grandparents). And 1 removed from Jim Crow (at its peak)

I doubt even Lady Bird loved LBJ.

Yes, we have established that you are bad at math.

That’s CRT.

You being bad a math is CRT? Or family generations are CRT?

2+2=5

No, that’s you being bad at math.

Might want to look it up. It’s Woke as hell.

WOW…

A new holiday makes you feel like you personally or the country in general…

Are “paying” for past sins?

Really?

That’s so odd.

Has anyone been paying attention to this guy?

Man of High Character as lib media claims he is?

Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.)

It is so NOT “race based”!

It is AMERICA based! It is a part of our HISTORY!

WHY can’t you see that?

WHY does it disturb you so?

We are a nation of immigrants! You know this!

But black folks were the ONLY ones taken from their homeland and FORCED into servitude!

Can we agree that that was wrong?

Can we agree a national holiday ENDING that, at the very LEAST, is appropo?

Have a BBQ! Drink a beer! Chillax!

Juneteenth changes NOTHING.

Life goes on just as it did before. It;s a ■■■■■■■ new HOLIDAY.

WHAT is all the angst about?

THATS your “boggle”?

What it COSTS?

SERIOUSLY

I’m LMAO!

To INTIMDATE and REMIND the not so newly freed slaves of their “place”!

Those monuments didn’t go up until WELL after the war!

They went up decades later when some felt that blacks were getting too “uppity”.

Greenwood, Rosewood, Nicodemus…

Tsk, tsk.

Not even a mention other than this post.

Says a lot.
