What’s really unhealthy is how many of them have been led to believe they are victims without a voice, when the conservative viewpoint actually undergirds the debate in this country and has for 30+ years.

There is no foundation for the introduction of most of my preferred policy positions without having to relitigate forty years of Reagano-Bushism and the rise of the New Right, the ratchet has moved so far rightward.

But, 1970s, it was not unreasonable to discuss pollution control, ubi, educational reform, etc - and that was still with imperialists in control of FP.

It is amazing that things people discussed freely as recently as the late 1970s are considered outright communism today…and yet people believe the liberal viewpoint dominates.

The liberals have spent 30+ years saying “Please…don’t hurt me if I bring this up…promise?” for the most innocuous of ideas.

It seems some media would have us believe we are living in a resurrected Stalinist state, or directly threatened by the prospect were it not for Trump keeping his finger in the leaking dyke of democracy.

I wonder who benefits from media outlets convincing people that narrative is true?
