The Federal Emergency Management Agency will conduct its first ever test of the new ‘Presidential Alert’ system Wednesday afternoon; sending the wireless warning to over 225 million devices across the country.

The test will be delivered under the headline ‘PRESIDENTIAL ALERT’ that will read “THIS IS A TEST of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. No action is needed."

“The alert test, which is FEMA’s first for the wireless emergency system – and is being coordinated with the Federal Communications Commission – will sound similar to an Amber Alert or flood watch warning,” writes Fox News.

The test will be sent to mobile phones, tablets, and smart watches at 2:18pm EDT.
