Actually the account that he retweeted was suspended.

So he amplifies white supremacist content that is soooo execrable that twitter suspends the account.

You’d think it’d be easy to say that’s Not a Good Thing®, but here we are.

This thread is exactly how it will go when Trump shoots someone on Fifth Avenue. He warned us. He even warned his supporters.

And here we are.

Repeating the word “amplify,” from your script.

I think NOMOROBO needs a forum edition ROBO POSTS

Should I go a third ignore/mute?

I’ve never felt the need to put someone on ignore, but sure, go ahead.

If it’s easier to think of reminders that the President promotes white supremacist content as robo posts and if reminders that the President promotes white supremacist content is discomfiting, then by all means, put me on ignore.

That’s what it’s there for, I guess.

Look. Taking what twitter decides to do as a basis for judging anything. Hilarious.

Are you gainsaying that the fellow’s content was white supremacist? Because it pretty obviously was.

Was what was “amplified” a real video of something that actually happened? They are upset because something that actually happened was “amplified”/

Not familiar with his account. Nor was his account “blessed” by Trump (or whoever does Trump’s account). He just saw one video he wanted to republish. No, I don’t know why. Write and ask.

You’re the one questioning Twitter’s reason for suspending the account.

And?..I don’t considered twitter authorized to make decision as to what should be believed. If they ban someone’s account, as far as I’m concerned that just shows that they banned someones account.
And I wish Trump would stop handing them all that advertising by using them.

Man, the mental gymnastics to get to this point.

Occam’s Razor. They suspended the account because it is white supremacist. The President has a habit of promoting it.

Americans think that’s a bad thing to do.

Your faith twitter to make decisions for you is inspirational.
A habit of promoting the site? All I have seen is linking to one video that didn’t promote anything.

I get it.

It doesn’t bother you.

There was a golf cart type car flag waving Trump parade at the end of July in some town and some doofus shouting “White Power”. Then Trump cones along, sees parade and retweets it, then every fake news network all reading the exact same script, said Trump was “amplifying” white supremacy. 3 hours later someone told the president about the video, and the retweet was deleted.

So he has done this thing of retweeting people who are white Supremacists before and didn’t learn his lesson.

Not learning the easiest of lessons is something that we look for in a President

And he does it a second time… how many times does he need to do it before it makes you care? 10? 20?

We have a President who doesn’t learn and you are cool with that

It’s so weird, this utter reticence to say that giving white supremacy a voice is a bad thing.

We fought a civil war over it and, near as I can tell, the right side won.

We fought a world war over white supremacist authoritarianism and, near as I can tell, the right side won. Indeed, we were so committed to winning the fight against white supremacist authoritarianism in WW 2 that we offered up about 300,000 combat deaths to the effort over 3 and half years, almost as many as we’ll lose to Covid just this year. That’s commitment!

Yet, here we are in 2020, with a bunch of folks vacillating over whether white supremacy is a bad thing or not.

The only way to respond to this twisted thinking would be to use 4 letter words, since there is no talking sense to TDS. Since that is not allowed I’ll just ignore.

I loved your post. I agree with much of it. It made me think on an issue I’m passionate about. I hate skin-heads, so much so that I once took on a gang of 7 of them. I was walking through the park when I confronted them, and to my amazement they fell like stones to the ground with each punch. I later learned they were cancer patients from a nearby hospital, but for awhile I thought I struck a blow for racial justice.

That whole story was a joke. Hopefully a funny joke to you because I like you and I want you to like me, and I’m about to say something you will likely disagree with… Trump Has Condemned White Supremacists - FactCheck.org

I could list 100 things President Trump has done wrong, but that would only result in a justifiable suspension from any Pro-Trump forum, and you probably know all of them. I can list 100 things President Trump has done right. I don’t want to, but if I’m honest, I could do it for as little as $300 by patreon…[hint hint FoxNews ].

President Trump retweeted a video that was offensive. Did he post it before watching all of it? Was the volume low? I don’t know, but I doubt [and this is just my opinion] President Trump decided a video praising “White Power” was a good look for him, and then chickened out 3 hours later.

I could be wrong but I remember once, when I was an imperfect man, I said something I now regret. I think it is possible that President Trump, regardless if he admits making a mistake, is now embarrassed by it. You think that is possible?
