The numbers are different. 1500 /= 2000. The mode of counting is different. Destroyed is different than damaged. The original claim is not accurate. Words mean things. Damaged is not the same as destroyed.

Because I love it when my black neighbors riot at night. At least they’re polite enough to knock on my door and ask me to join them. I declined because I was too worn out from joining riots earlier in the day along with my bible class.

Public transportation outside of express bus routes in NYC is terrible smelly and at times violent.

The MTA is a semi Public corporation that should be “de-privatized”.

It’s gotten better mind you but at what cost.

Growing up in Bensonhurst with the B then the D being a the worst on time train in the city.

Then and now living in Staten Island for the past 20 years and seeing how amazing the express bus system is as compared to the subway system.

Have you seen the lengths the MTA is going to to clean the trains? At terminal stations they have crews that board each train and mop and wipe each car.

Yes because their ridership is at a point where if it were to get any lower it would you and me riding it. They are at 1/10 of ridership. Yeah now they are spending money to clean the train

Kudos to them. I mean that. The trains are clean and mostly safe. The stations are still 110 degrees in the summer.

I am only saying that it could get better and that the mta is run poorly.
