Why should he? Mueller’s job is not to get to the truth, it is to get Trump by any means necessary. You do not meet with people who are dedicated to your downfall unless there is something in it for you. Trump gains nothing by a meeting with Mueller. Mueller on the other hand gets an opportunity to try to Trap Trump with some totally unrelated issue. Mueller’s only goal is to take down a president. Why would you meet with someone like that?

Lets not forget. The only reason there is an investigation involving the President is because the DNC and Hillary campaign wanted to have one. And most of the federal government are simply branches of the DNC. If they actually presented some evidence that Trump helped Russia manipulate our election, then I would say a meeting is in order. But they need to show something that suggests that the President was involved in something illegal. Trump is not obligated to show up for a meeting without a real reason given for the meeting. Lets see what they have. We have waited long enough.

But for sake of argument, if you did nothing wrong, then what’s in it for you is to conclude the investigation and allow the investigators to prove your innocence to the world. That is done by meeting with them.

If he did nothing wrong, then he gains a report put out by thorough investigators exonerating him.

The Special Counsel has already given Trump’s legal team the reasons for the interview, and the subjects they want to discuss with him.

Not until the investigation is over. There is no reason whatsoever for anyone to see the details of an ongoing investigation. You just want this as more reason to run defense for Trump. It is typical of a cultist.

Nope. This investigation is still a long way from its conclusion. Look at other similar investigations and their lengths of time to completion.

Here is what we know for sure. This is an investigation in search of a crime. This is never supposed to happen in America. Investigations begin with evidence of a specific crime. The only reason they will not I.D. the crime is they have no evidence. At the very least, they need to identify the crime they are investigating. That is basic. But they refuse to do even that. Why?
