It’s all relative. Someone closer to the middle of the political spectrum than you, would probably see the court as two far left, two fairly neutral and five consecutives.

But to answer this question:
She’s not Ruth Bader Gisnburg. And I’d rather have her there than Merrick Garland or someone of that ilk.
She’s a not-lib. Just be thankful for that. It’s not gonna change, and it could have been way worse.

I was way disappointed in O’Conner as well.
Maybe we should steer away from conservative Women justices?
They seem to have a way of drifting away from being conservative once they land on the high court.

Justices have no obligation to be ideological. In fact, they should not be. Their obligation is to the Law and the Constitution. Both Barrett and O’Connor fit that bill.

Is it not self-evident that a Supreme Court Justices’ opinion is not legitimate when it defies the text of our Constitution, and its documented legislative intent, which gives context to its text?

I wonder if maybe she got intimidated by the liberal left.
Incidents like the guy who went to Kavenaugh’s house with the intent to do harm?
If they can’t handle that sort of thing they don’t belong on the high court.
Kavenaugh didn’t let it intimidate him.

Women like M. Thacher and Golda Mayer are rare gems.
It is refreshing, tho, seeing now all those bright smart women in Trump’s cabinet so maybe my fate in them handling serious stuff will change.
