I live in Cali, I have young kids in elementary school…can confirm they are not being taught about homosexuality.

It really was the weirdest thing I have heard on this forum in a while. Two of my cousins are Principles in Cal Schools. I also can attest No Gay Curriculum.

The problem is that “normal” is so very subjective that normal is up to each of us. I have watched you guys dance around “normal” and “abnormal” for 2 days. What we have in over 1250 posts is an argument over good and bad perceptions. Norma is being used for good, and abnormal is used for bad. The terms have a wellness or illness conotation to them.

I think the discussion goes better if we discuss acceptance or none acceptance of homosexuals in our society. I accept homosexuality as a choice, lifestyle, way of life or what have you. My beliefs are much different. I can do both…it matters not to me if it’s abnormal or normal. Just like as a bears fan…i hate the packers, but my brother in law is from Green Bay. I love the guy, but I don’t have to like his packerness during football season. But I accept that that’s his choice in life. Lol

I’m not sure who you are referring to as ‘they’ but most LGBTQ activist groups are looking for things like equal rights and no discrimination, which in no way equates to approval.
