The purpose of a pride event is for a minority group that has been shunned, attacked and discriminated against to come together and encourage each other to overcome discrimination and injustice together. A straight pride event is just trolling. That’s not “broadbrushing,” it’s just facts.

Or actually - in my opinion… the mores of traditional families of specific state and local areas. The federal government should stay out of it and allow states and locals to decide.

Are you backing off that now, and want zero government involvement in this? If so, how are heterosexer parents supposed to protect their children from gay indoctrination if the law won’t back them up?

When are straight white men ever going to catch a break in this country?

Straight white men caught a break. Notice the demographic that’s missing from the CDC ( center for disease control) chart below? That’s right…heterosexual white men. And many of those men and their wives would prefer their sons make the right choices to stay off that chart. Taking pride in being straight would be a good start.
