By a small percentage. Not everyone coming here are villains as Trump would want us to believe. The vast majority will try hard to find work. They will pay taxes when they get a job. They will not cause trouble.

President Trump needs to order the National Guard to forcefully prevent foreigners from illegally setting foot upon our side of the border. Is that not how you stop an invasion, and likewise stop separating children from their parents?

Our country is under attack! Will we lose it to the poverty stricken populations of other countries who are invading us?

And what about Congress’ power To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;

Is Congress acting in concert with this invading force?

What we are seeing at the Southern states borders, individuals with children from far flung locations applying for asylum or simply entering our country illegally, does not, especially by James Madison’s explanation, constitute “invasion” via our Constitution’s Article IV Section 4 clause.

Yes, one can play semantics with the word invasion in order to justify their opinion that our President is allowing an “invasion” by illegal immigrant and their children that he could and should repel militarily by Federalizing the NG.

However if one looks to the founders explanation-definition “invasion” is by force(s) of a foreign nation.

He talked tough on immigration, his former Homeland Secretary announced in 2017 the administration was considering separating families as a deterrent and the current AG admitted it recently. Everyone knows this zero tolerance policy is a departure from how previous administrations handled families. Yet the coward in the White House doesn’t have the balls to own it and blames Dems. Why would I admit to that?

I do not find illegal aliens violating our immigration laws to be a laughing matter.

Some of the over the top rhetoric I see here and hear elsewhere on the topic, well that is another thing, I can get a chuckle or laugh from much of that.
