The Infants Born Alive Act is nother boondoggle whose sole purpose was to get social conservatives outraged.
Infants born alive are already protected from a 2002 law…this law would have criminalized doctors who listened to parents’ wishes to allow babies born alive but not viable to simply be kept comfortable until they died.
But it did its job on those who get outraged first and search for facts much later.
