I just love threads like this. Only around 33% fully vaccinated in the US so far, with 45% having at least one dose. That means 55% of the US population is still running around totally unvaccinated - and someone wonders why there are still restrictions in place?

Apparently deductive reasoning is no longer a skill set utilized or appreciated by a portion of the population.

Don’t forget the 10% with confirmed cases and an estimated 10-20% who have had it and never tested.

With some overlap in the vaccinated of course.

Given that I personally know 3 people who have had Covid twice, I don’t have much confidence about how long immunity lasts from having it. And I’ve not really yet seen any data on that myself.

Israel vaccinated half of their country really fast and now they’re pretty much over the pandemic.

Here in US, both cases and deaths have drastically gone down since we’ve started vaccinating.
