Yes, my opinion is that racism is a factor, but it is racist reporting. Media rarely give brown shooters the same coverage that white shooters get.

Here is a montage of all of the people arrested for a shooting four or more persons at one time in 2019:

Ten white folks killed in Boulder and the country is in mourning.
769 mostly black folks killed in Chicago and dead silence.

Because there’s no guarantee the sub-population of people that was within the shooter’s range at the time of the incident was completely representative of the population of Boulder, CO.

You’re talking about probability, not simple math. Saying that if 80% of the population is white means there should have been two victims of color is about as simple as math can get.
