Why do we need to create another giant bureaucracy and waste billions to deport illegals?

You libs should have thought about this before you all opened up our borders.

Exactly.

OMG…you are truly naive to the reality around you. Wait until you’re fed how much waste took place under Biden. It’s the largest amount in our nation’s history. Now if you remove the money spent during the Trump Administration to fight the negative impacts of COVID, it wouldn’t be even close to as large as it was. Either way, I too HATE waste and totally stand against it.

That would be pointless, my point is Trump has no interest in actually solving the problem. He had 4 years and deported less illegals thn Obama while spending twice as much doing it. No one is risking 6 months in jail to employee an illegal, vast majority would line themselves up and leave if that was implemented but it would hurt trumps donors and buddies so no way it would be implemented.

It is not complicated, if no is willing to hire illegals in a year the only ones left will be the clear criminal element. Especially if we make it easy and beneficial for the illegals to leave.

But the trump way is to waste money of theater while expanding the size of gov.

When the massive deportations Trump has promised do not materialize the cultists will just make up crap to excuse Trump.

I find your whole argument to be disingenuous. What about these sanctuary cities harboring illegals? How much money are they wasting? Maybe if democrats didnt try to stop all efforts of halting this problem we wouldnt have to be talking about this scale of problem to begin with

Keeping them here runs into hundreds of billions.

Your airline argument falls flat when one realizes those same airlines flew many of them in here.

I love posting the following chart.

The telling piece is the number of apprehensions between 2011 and 2020. Notice the dramatic down tick in 2020, the last year of Trump’s presidency. Now look what happened under Biden. Yes, there were more Title 42 expulsions, because the number of border crossings increased exponentially.

Amen!

The libs like to think or pretend we aren’t out a ton of money with them staying here.

Plus don’t like to talk about the thousands of murders and rapes being committed by some of them that wouldn’t be happening if these people were on the other side of the border.

That’s because the law isn’t being enforced.

You do realize that Trump hasn’t been in office for 4 years. If Biden wanted to, he could have told his DOJ to begin enforcing the law.

How about we do both.

Deport and hit employers that are hiring to pay less in wages.

Trump isn’t in office yet. Once he is, I’m expecting we will see some swift action.

No matter what we do this is going to cost a fortune to fix in any way we choose because the US as a whole ignored the issue for forever. That’s the costs of ignoring issues for decades on end.

:joy:  :joy:

How is a city going to prevent jailing people who hire illegals by the fed gov? By that logic deportation wont work anyway if a city is going protect illegals.

You think companies and people will risk hiring illegals after it becomes clear people are going to prison and getting felony convictions for it? That is insane.

You think the dem base is going to care about ceos going to jail?

He will do what is directly applicable to the executive branch really quickly.

Some of the big stuff will take congress’s involvement, however. And that’s left to be seen if he can build a coalition for a national project. Which is what this will be.

It’s no different than Apollo, or the Manhattan Project.

Glad you find it funny lib…

Everyone has some guilt here. The left has always been bleeding hearts and blaming America for why Latin America is how it is so we have to do right by them. And the Right only cared about the business interest side of the issue who wanted the cheap labor.

Both sides failed. And now America will have to launch a national Apollo sized project to possibly fix it and make it right.

Why would felony convictions, massive fines and a min 6 month in prison for anyone who hires illegals cost money.

If they can not work vast majority will turn themselves in for the free trip home so they dont starve

Because that doesn’t get rid of the existing problem. It only fixes the future problem.

It’s a good first step. But more will be required. Especially since the American people are demanding visible results over it now.
