Here is the problem. The CEC has done a good job convincing their base that all BLM and Antifa folks are domestic terrorists. This is just simply false. Starting with the protests after George Floyd’s death I read multiple articles where heads of police stated that the burning and looting was being done by individuals not associated with protesting groups.

I have also seen a lot of videos that show violent protests and the makers of the videos are claiming that the folks doing the bad stuff are either BLM or Antifa with absolutely no evidence. Are there bad people who are connected with BLM and Antifa, sure. There are always going to be a few bad apples in any group. But independent studies have been published that say both of these are not terrorist groups.
And if there are those bad apples in any group, I hope that they are exposed and punished.

Not cool when dealing with an imminent threat, but there was no imminent threat, so that point is mute. However, they sure work when you’re trying to get someone’s attention to listen to your commands to stop doing what it is that you want them to stop doing. You know damn well, that a bullet splattering off the wall a couple of feet in front of her face would have given her and the rest of those people pause to rethink what they were doing. They weren’t there to risk their lives. They would have stopped cold.

Ricochets, victim behind stucco wall that you thought was concrete, bullets can go through a hollow cement block, you can’t know if they would have stopped cold, they might become more violent, are just a few of the reasons warning shots are prohibited. Illegal in other words.

So the chance that a ricochet might injure one of the trespassers is reason to kill one of them instead? WOW!

No one here is cheering this incident. It was very tragic. And I didn’t see anyone here doing what you are talking about. Maybe you could give some examples. And saying that she was not threatening anyone is being rather blind of the situation. I asked you before, what would you have done? What should he have done? Should he have just let her and her fellows in the hallway? Should he have not protected the members of Congress and their staff that he vowed to do? He was faced with a angry, violet mob that had already not followed police orders to cease. Are you not for law and order? So I will ask you again, what should he have done?

The only time that warning shots make any sense at all is when Yosemite Sam of Looney Toons fame tipped back his ten-gallon hat and said, “I’m the meanest, roughest, toughest hombre that’s ever crossed the Rio Grande and I ain’t no namby-bamby!” before firing his revolvers in the air.

In every other case, warning shots are a terrible idea. They’re illegal and irresponsible
