With Covid or from it. Now there’s a difference

I’m vaccinated, too, and I will not wear mask where I am not required to and I am not concerned about risk to myself. There are still areas where not everyone has had the opportunity to get fully vaxxed, children who cannot get vaxxed, people who for medical reasons can’t get vaxxed. So we do need a certain percentage of the population vaxxed before the risk from the unvaccinated is minimized. Not all parts of the country are there yet.
Maybe both ? However the deaths are counted, there was an enormous spike in the winter - which was predicted - people congregating indoors, and get togethers for Thanksgiving, Xmas, New Year’s and Super Bowl likely contributed.
They don’t need YOUR business…just business. They’re free to try to exist without YOUR business.
This is where I land. I’m gonna continue to wear a mask, and do the other stuff, until everybody that wants the vax is vaxxed. After that I’m ready to ditch the mask and say “ ■■■■ ‘em!”.
Of course I’m an ugly bastard, so I might just keep the mask on anyway.

Possibly. And maybe everything they told us was horse feathers. Remember when they said “Bars and restaurants!!! Aaaagghh!!!”‽
Less than 5%. We destroyed peoples’ lives for that.

Ok here’s my answer. I would prefer to know the reasons behind any banned activity. I like Kroger. I want to know what their criteria is for going maskless.
Why is it such a big deal for them to disclose this?
In the words of another poster, why don’t you mind your own business? Their reasons are their reasons, they don’t have to share them with you and there may be reasons not to share them with you.

Which is fine if that is what you want to do. I’m ok with anyone who wants to wear a mask 24/7 for the rest of their life. But since I am vaccinated, my not wearing a mask, according to the CDC, doesn’t create a huge risk to anyone, so I will not wear one when I am not required. It might make the unvaccinated nervous as to whether I am really vaccinated or not, but their nervousness is not reason enough for me to wear a mask. I will wear a mask to keep from spreading a disease, but not to keep people from worrying about whether I am lying about being vaccinated or not.
Everything ? Going back to which statements exactly ? That there’s such a thing as Coronavirus ? That it’s deadly ? That we have to do “15 days to slow the spread” ? Stay home, save lives ?
I think some stuff was overreaction, some not so much and I trust those statistics to a degree. Winter was bad. Right now things are way better, obviously.
That’s an excellent reason to get vaccinated and burn your mask.
Yesterday was the first time i saw people playing basketball at my gym since before Covid - no masks, of course.

The whole concept of govenment commanding that people restrict their access to clean fresh air was always a little sketchy to me. My state mask mandate ends June 2nd. Personally for me, it ended two weeks ago. I’ve been vaccinated. My mask is a hood ornament.
