I’m just retired military that’s a CWI (certified welding inspector)as my retirement job and a old Kansas farm boy, so I’ll take your word for it.
We are moving in the same direction in Mississippi. There is still work to be done but carrying here is much easier than it was just 10 years ago.
It’s one the few things our state government has gotten right in the past few decades.

Where I live, I can carry without a permit just fine openly in public.
