They are…Doug and others like them…because they are short sighted enough to believe that Trump will be re-elected. And that in six years whomever follows Trump will have forgotten all of this. But let an extreme liberal get elected and say the same things…I have complete authority to pardon myself…Doug, Peek, Cratic and all the rest will camp out here day and night crying about how the liberal scum is going to pardon himself. Here is the issue. You can’t go to the wall for a set of values on one side of the aisle, because it is your side…and then go completely against it when the other side espouses the same set of values. It just makes a person look dumb. It will be a double edged sword if the next president is a democrat and tries to do the same things.

I don’t know what basis Trump used for canceling it. I did hear that only a handful of Eagles employees and players were going to attend, trump may have felt snubbed.

Could it be that maybe Trump canceled it for that reason? If so, is it okay for players to use their own petty politics to refuse to attend?
