Replace needs with should…work better for you? Its still the same scenario.

For the record, I did the same. For me, it wasn’t worth fighting over. (And I swim. We didn’t have to wear them in the pool. Just until you got to your lane. Then you could take it off.)
And I still honor the requests of facilities/stores/whatever that still require masks, though it does encourage me to decrease my duration of time in those places.
But I do my best to fart as much as I can in those places – to help people realize how effective their masks really are!

No such drumbeat. Please make honest posts.
Me too. I was at work. As soon as the clock struck midnight on the 28th of May mine came off.
I never once wore the mask outside.

I hope they keep doing it.

You don’t need to be armed. If anybody tries to make you carry a gun, PM me.

I used to all the time. Sitting at my desk, sneezing/coughing up a storm, didn’t think much of it at all, was just a part of life.
Yeah they should, but they won’t. People get in trouble or fired for being out of work sick.
Good point, cause I think the pool was open. That may have been one exception, I guess - I never go to that pool
I changed needs to should in my response to Guvnah…
How many times has " if people were armed there’d be less shootings" been been posted on this forum?
I wonder when we will return the previous orthodoxy that masks are of little value and may even be counterproductive in fighting respiratory diseases.
Basically, there is no strong evidence to support well people wearing surgical masks in public. Or as the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention put it: “No recommendation can be made at this time for mask use in the community by asymptomatic persons, including those at high risk for complications, to prevent exposure to influenza viruses.”
I’ve heard that quite a few times - an armed society is a polite society, how come there are never mass shootings at NRA meetings, etc…

Not a single business around me still requires masks, nor do they require you to be vaccinated. Not even the employees are required to wear them. Some still do, but it’s not required.
Masks have been passed off as being safer to wear one. Even a false sense of security is still a sense of security. That’s not something easily overcome. So yeah, let’s see how long it takes.

Well I’m always in decent shape because I work on my feet but I’ve put on like fifteen pounds and beer drinking at home hasn’t helped either.

Thank you for being respectful.
The fart part got me laughing though.
