No, probably not Flatbush.

Slope/“South Slope” is my guess.

Close ish ish.

Where there is a will there is a way. Gotta have proof of ID to cash checks, etc.

Why not the same standard for voting?

About an hour, on foot.

But also worlds away.

Although the engines of gentrification do drive on. It’s been a decade for me.

South Slope is distinct from Park Slope?

“South Slope” is a term invented by real estate agents to make an area that wasn’t Park Slope into sorta Park Slope for their listings.

Survival rate here in US is actually 98%+.

But yes, that still accounts for a lot of deaths.

Ahah.

Park Slope still ends at Flatbush Ave?

Yeah, basically. But “South Slope” is on the other side. Into the 20s and 30s, going down 5th and 6th.

I have almost no reason to go back now. My brother moved off the LT entrance.

To Tampa.

Please spread the word to your friends. They shouldn’t come here.

We have gators, snakes and horrible humidity 90% of the year.

Oh, and a Governor who is abominable.

That’s rough. I don’t wish Florida on anyone.

I still have a lot of family in Brooklyn, and that’s part of why I have a reason not to go back, right now.

You don’t have to convince me. I lived there.

Two thirds of Florida will be shark waters soon enough.

Please tell your friends. Spread the word.

I’ve no idea what that means?

I do, all the time.

I left Florida, never to return, more than 15 years ago. And it still haunts me.

To each their own. I’m happy for you that you found and settled into a place that you are content with.

We have friends on Manasota. Last time, I tried to go for a run. I run mountains. I have tens of thousands of miles. And it’s not like New England is dry.

Barely made it a mile.
