That was in response to different sanctions against Jones, for different conduct during the trial.
But the Supreme Court almost certainly wouldn’t have heard an appeal based on the default judgment sanction either.
Granting certiorari on discovery motions is all they do….

Okay, then pretend my post ends with “for outrageous political opinions” rather than “insulting honored guests.”

So what political viewpoint was Alex Jones espousing when he said the parents of Sandy Hook were paid actors?

He was giving an erroneous opinion on a public matter, which is protected speech under Brandenberg.
Brandenberg is about state action - not defamation.

Please ignore the billions of dollars in deals some of these companies have in federal contracts and their reliance on federal agencies as arbiters of truth. That’s ok though, the left is about to have an epiphany about whether companies can do whatever they want in regard to political speech the day after Elon signs the twitter sale.

Oh yeah this just reminded me…
…Elon Musk being a new MAGA hero is equally mind-blowing.
What does that have to do with Alex jones?

We will take any help we can get taking out the prog trash.

Should I take this as an admission that Brandenberg is yet another court ruling you don’t understand?

You mean the sale based on “fraud” that Musk was ingeniously negotiating and would never be enforced by the courts?
Let’s just say you don’t exactly have a great track record when it comes to predictions.

He provided material support to Wolfgang Halbig to go and harass the parents of murdered children in order to create content.
He did waaay more than give an erroneous opinion.

Might want to remember I also said I didn’t care that much about the case or if he lost it, hoped he would in fact. That’s me worshiping Musk.
BTW - Musk has until Friday at 5pm to close the deal, otherwise it goes back to the Chancery. I doubt they’ll be happy if he (again) fails to live up to his word.

Yeah, that’s what you said after all of your other arguments about how Musk was going to get out of the deal fell apart.
The thread is still here - I’m happy to pull up your posts.

No, its what I said from the start.
After losing the deal with Adidas (and $1.5 billion of his net worth along with it), Kanye West showed up at the Skechers office unannounced, and was escorted out by security.

I have a feeling his story is going to end very badly.
