Should sentences be commensurate with sentences for similar crimes? Is it justice to sentence one person with a far longer sentence than others who committed more grievious crimes?

I find it adorable the love of the police during Jan 6th and yet scroll a few threads down to the story about the Utah man who got shot by the police has a totally different vibe (a disdain if you will) towards police.
As does every topic about the police that isn’t January 6th. Lunging at a police with a weapon and get shot, let’s riot. An unarmed lady crawling through a window, good shot.

I have followed some of the trail stories and I must say that I was surprised that a few of the accused were pretty aliment that they were not sorry because the election was stolen. And of course the rest apologized and said they were stupid. I would expect that the attitude would be an influence on some Judges.
