I live 10 miles from Oldham,I think I know a bit more about it than you and I know far more about Tommy Robinson than you,his jail sentences for assault,assaulting a police officer,football hooliganism and fraud for instance. I could then mention his former membership in the British National Party,a racist white nationalist party.If you knew half of what Tommy Robinson is really like you wouldn’t be defending him.

If you espouse anti Muslim hatred you don’t go to a place like Oldham were their is a large Asian community campaigning for votes and expect a warm welcome? Yes the Muslims did probably instigate it but this is a town that has seen a riot in the not too distant past instigated by a neo nazi group Combat 18 and a coming together of the racist hooligans from all over the country.I can understand why people would get angry about more racists descending on their town.However, this is what Robinson wants because it gets him in the news and you get all the low information sheeple thinking he is some sort of martyr.

Let’s you and I subscribe to this elderly lady who is from the UK and has posted her NEUTRAL view of what took place. She is providing two videos…one from with in Robinsion’s group and one from the Muslim Defense League showing their POV. She’s doing her best to be civil and asks many good questions. Let’s you and I learn something from someone attempting to expose the truth. Are you game?

Ok first things first .This woman isn’t an impartial observer ,a cursory look at her other videos show many praising Tommy Robinson and other dubious characters.She seems overtly preoccupied with Muslims.

As I stated before, the Asians probably did the start the violence,I will concede they did,however Oldham is a small town,she can say it’s a largely white area but its right next to an estate full of Asians.Tommy Robinson’s EDL visited the town and caused violence in the past you could’ve predicted what would happen.

There is one thing about the day I find particularly troubling and that is the police didn’t try to stop the Muslim Defence League marching up to the rally,I have seen them do similar things at football games in virtually allowing a violent confrontation to take place,filming it and then arresting people in the days following.I am sure their will be some kind of inquiry into the policing on the day

I’m not sure if they determined the risk to officers of such a large group was such that they decided to escort them till further back up arrived or maybe they were gathering intelligence or simply incompetent policing, I wouldn’t like to say for sure.

On a different note I share the sentiments of the local MP who said of the days events.: “It’s horrible to see our town being used for hate and division when our own future is a shared one, long after the circus has left town.”

It’s unusual to say the least and was purposeful. Now the question becomes…what was the purpose? Either way, as the results of the day show…it wasn’t professional policing. Now it leads as to why they would do this? I suspect it’s because they are fulfilling the wishes of those who are in charge who do NOT want Robinson to be elected? So by observation it appears that the media, the police and the political establishment are in collusion to accomplish this goal.

I disagree.Robinson doesn’t have a great chance of being elected, the far right vote is split between him,UKIP and Nigel Farage and his Brexit Party,the latter will do far better IMO .Add to that the North West is a Labour heartland.I don’t believe in any conspiracy to silence Tommy Robinson.
