Right. Not eradicating the ruling class. But so what? The origin of civilization is about power, but more specifically about the control of resources. Particularly energy. Without inputs of energy, entropy prevails. That is how important the sun is. For much of human history, we depended on energy from the sun. And now energy has been extracted from “ancient” sunlight, and twisted governments to the extreme. That, not climate change, not anything else, is the human dilemma.

SneakySFDude I honestly love the discussions on these boards with you. I find them fun most of the time. But you really are vague a lot of the time, and most of the time it feels like an excercise in remembering past conversations, in order to understand what your current point may be.

Eradicate the ruling class? When was that ever a goal of our founders? How can you even have a functional country without rulers?
