So we finally know what the weekend freak out was about.

The Connecticut families filed a motion to convert the chapter 11 bankruptcy to chapter 7. Total liquidation.

May they finally get what they deserve from Jones.

And it needs to be made easier for a those owed judgements to collect them and harder for defendants to abuse the bankruptcy system to avoid or mitigate payment of a judgement. If a defendant enters bankruptcy, the system should automatically convert the filing to Chapter 7 and the estate liquidated as fast as possible and the victims paid as fast as possible.

Appeals must be given a chance to work through the system. But after all are done sure - Chapter 7 and then as fast as possible.

Seems like a well executed and planned legal strategy to delay, retrial and further appeal the case because of questionable incompetent legal representation.

Jones is another version of Prince Mongo. Playing the system and the public by acting dumb.

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’ Infowars media empire will be shut down and sold off, a bankruptcy court-appointed trustee said in an emergency court filing Sunday, signalling the end of the notorious far-right outlet that Jones has used to spread dangerous misinformation and lies.

Earlier this month, a bankruptcy judge ruled that Jones’ personal assets would be liquidated to help pay off the nearly $1.5 billion he owes the families of victims of the Sandy Hook massacre. But at that time, the judge ruled Jones’ media company Free Speech Systems, the parent of Infowars, would not be liquidated partly because the process would be costly and lengthy.
