I would word it differently. Success is generally easier for those who have wealthy (millionaire status) parents and whose parents have connections and/or positions of power. Did not Jaden Smith benefit as a result of who his parents were? You don’t think children of influential prominent politicians have advantages over the rest of us?
At lower economic levels assuming similar parental influences it’s much more about the choices one makes in life and how hard they work. There’s nothing I’ve accomplished in my life that an economically less fortunate black person couldn’t have done.
