So you Don’t want to find out if there was any misconduct in the handling of the DOJ investigation of two presidential candidates?

We all know what Graham did and why he did it, Graham isn’t a boy scout here with his actions. I get it, Snow supports Trump, but when someone is obviously playing partisan games, how is it that the other person in the discussion the one trying to “weasel” out of one?

I would say if justice department and FBi turns over everything in a timely manor, and after officials at justice and fbi appear and testify under oath to a grandy jury . . . under a year. Unless the SC finds other crimes along the way.

You’re playing games. Calling for an investigation with no basis in fact - justified by nothing but fabricated right-wing political persecution porn - is a poison pill, not a “simple request.”
So the question remains: Why not simply agree? What are Trumpists afraid of?

The reason Sessions didn’t and Barr hasn’t is. I suspect, because they ad access to whatever materials (including FISA) and having reviewed found what Sessions said in the video ^^^a few posts above^^^, ““Looks like” is not enough to appoint a special counsel.”

If there wasn’t collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, it certainly wasn’t for lack of trying by the senior Trump campaign executives.

Graham did. Obviously nobody’s going to vote to ask for an investigation based on right-wing fabricated nonsense. Except right-wingers who go in for that sort of thing. So Graham poisoned a straight-forward resolution. Why did he do that - what’s he afraid of?
Asked another way: if Graham’s request is so simple, why hasn’t the Republican-led Senate managed to put together his request in a bill and vote on that? Wouldn’t it pass?
The answer is simple, and obvious: because this “investigation” request is a crock of right-wing crap.

Remember when all this similar stuff was happening before the 2016 election. You guys were saying the same ■■■■ back then about heads rolling and people going to jail. And as soon as the election was over…it all went away…and you guys won…
