The more than $40 billion in additional aid to Ukraine approved by Congress on Thursday brings the total U.S. commitment during the Russian invasion to roughly $54 billion when combined with the aid package passed in March.
That wasn’t the argument at all. The argument was that walls don’t work and the wall was going to do damage to the environment. Plus, all of the eminent domain issues hadn’t been worked out.
Moreover, electronic monitoring would be more effective AND cheaper.

What’s the cost of supporting 3 million illegals that have invaded America? The cost of lost lives from drugs pouring into America because of the J’Biden dumbassery at the Southern Border? How about property damage and victims of crimes committed by illegal aliens?

US taxpayer Healthcare costs of illegal immigrants is about 20 Billion per year. Factor in education, housing, meals, etc., I’m sure that would more than double that yearly number.
