The indoctrination of our young has borne fruit as they reach voting age. in 1992 and 1996 moderate DEMs were still in control. That slowly began to change in 2008 and 2012. In 2020 DEMs brazenly and openly tout their socialist agenda, confident in the support of those just reaching voting age. The DEMs of today are very different than the DEMs of Clinton’s presidency.
We should be very worried about a Biden presidency, because he won’t be pulling the strings. Radical leftists’ will be in control. You can take that to the bank.

I mean - 1 -Moderate dems are still in control. Have been since Clinton. Carter was the last liberal.
When clinton ran in 1992 and 1996 Republicans were calling him a socialist, communist’s, and most liberal president ever.
You all spent the entire primary season telling Dems that Biden cant win because his not left enough for the “New Dem” party. Then he won and now you try to convince everyone that somehow he wont be in charge (The Left wing of the party is SOOO powerful they couldn’t win the primary but somehow is still in charge?)
The Republican talking points have been 100% the same for EVERY dem candidate for every election since ive been voting.
Bottom line. Im voting Biden because
1- I like his policies better
2- After 40 years -Republicans still push Trickle down Economics despite it showing it doesnt work
3- 1993 -2000 was better economically (Unemployment, GDP growth, Lower deficits, more advancement) then 1988-1992. 2009 to 2016 was better economically then 2001 -2008. The current state of American is high unemployment, record deficits, high trade deficits, civil unrest, racial tensions.
4- Civil liberties is important to me. This includes LGBQT rights.
5- Overall -It is my experience then Republicans care more about “America” as a idea. “A Thing”. Dems see America as its people. ALL its people.
All above is why I am a dem anyway and vote mostly for dems (Although I hate the far left and have voted for mod Republicans over far left Dems)
For THIS election in particular -The President of the united states MAIN function in our Republic is to set the agenda, represent American, be the communicator for all of Americans. Trump has failed miserably. He lies like no tomorrow (About big and small things). He represents America and Americans terribly. He has made us a joke in the world. He cant be trusted at all to be honest with us (And we see with Covid the ramifications on that). He is not a man that should be President period. And that DOES matter.
Why? We need a leader, not a figurehead who gets me what I want and nothing more.
I really admire the GOP, how they can ignore the obvious faults and misgivings of a terrible person solely for the reason of stacking the courts and getting tax breaks. There isn’t anything Trump can do to change their support because he is simply Johnny Bravo, he fits the suit and that is all they care about.
There isn’t any level of shame or disgust on their part, this is purely mercenary, and I get that. The population, as it stands, is tilting further and further away from the GOP and it doesn’t look good for the future unless they change their approach. But instead of doing that, they double down and prop up this dunderhead. Go for broke, get as much as you can now and worry about tomorrow when it happens.
Forget balance of power, forget honor, forget manifest destiny and tear that shining city on a hill down to the studs. This is all about winning, and nothing else matters.
And nothing anyone here can say will convince me otherwise. There is no love of country anymore, no patriotism, no honor in the GOP. Just winning and losing. And there isn’t anything the GOP will not do to further their chances. They will cheat, they will obstruct, they will lie and smear. And never blink an eye. They have truly become Trump.
Biden isn’t like that, Americans should never be like that, I refuse to win at any cost. I refuse to tear down what made this country great and I refuse to accede to authoritarianism, we are down a very bad path and I won’t submit quietly. I still love this country, but there are less and less of us who love country over party.
There is no honor in the GOP, Guvnah. The GOP sat on a SCOTUS pick in 2016 for 13 months and even stated they may keep it open indefinitely if HRC won. When Trump won, they filled it and even overturned the filibuster to do it. The reason for the delay? It was an election year. So be it.
This year? Different story. No honor at all.
There were well over a hundred unfilled court vacancies the GOP refused to fill under Obama, those are now filled with Conservatives, a lot of which have little experience and terrible ratings by the ABA. Doesn’t matter, because they have no honor.
Rationalize it all away, pretend that integrity doesn’t matter. Pretend that ones word has no meaning and that winning is the only thing that does matter. It doesn’t matter if you lie, cheat and steal, as long as you get what you want.
In other words, be like Trump. And the GOP has become just like him, just as morally bankrupt and just as bereft of human dignity and empathy. They are a hollow shell of the party I grew up admiring and there is no current GOP office holder that is willing to stand up for what is right on a consistent basis. They just want to win, scorched earth be damned.
More than ever I wish we had a viable third party candidate as I am growing increasingly sick of the two party system and it’s ineffective divisive nature. No matter what the outcome I will not be happy. I want both of these guys to lose.
