Of course I do. Everybody that works for me is hourly.
So the idea of healthcare for the working poor is a non-starter?

So how are they going to get a national ID even if it’s free?
Good. Then you speak only for yourself in “your America”. For a large majority of other hourly workers… missing time can be devastating.
For example, for years my city was hosting basketball tryouts during the week. In prior years we reduced the cost of basketball signups due to low income of the surrounding area. However what we missed is that those same families who can barely afford to signup for basketball, also could not afford to miss an hour of work to take their kids to tryouts or practice. $30 signup turns into $45+ and then some for every hour they miss of work.
We have since made accommodations for later tryouts and practice but even that isn’t great on kids who are 7.
How do people get a social security card when they are born?
Ever hear of the post office?

How do you know I’m not hourly?
There is a huge difference in missing work to go to basketball practice and going to get an ID.

Ever hear of a picture? Fingerprints?

Was thinking more of the reparations current democrat candidates are supporting. But it should be fairly obvious that hiring quota’s or additional points given to minorities in college admissions hurt white people.

Umm no, I seriously doubt there is anyone out there who can not find an hour during business hours at some point over a period of months to go get an ID. If they do exist they are an infinitesimal percentage of the population. You are making up an imaginary demographic to support your position. You would have us believe there are people that have absolutely no discretionary income, they never go to starbucks, never buy beer, every single penny they have goes to rent and food? Missing one hour of work is going to destroy them, this person does not exist.

Yet they have no problem making me miss several times to get a CCW.
Not to mention the expense.

I will agree ever government process is onerous if you will agree it is not racial.
Simply wanting a national ID isn’t racist. What is racist is the justification for it. Just like in every voter ID case. Republicans can’t seem to get out their own way on this.
Make it “free” just like social security cards and make it a requirement for citizenship and I don’t think you’d have an issue.
Quotas don’t exist. Successful Companies don’t hire unqualified people just because they are a minority or woman.
I use to see them everyday. You need to get out into Akron inner cities and actually talk to people.
When you are poor… every little bit matters.

There’s a post office where you work?

You still have to miss work to go get it.
I have a huge problem with it.
Nope, I’m lucky that there’s one that’s a 15 min walk from my apt.

And your boss pays you to check your mail?
