You don’t know this. The reality is people with hourly jobs can’t miss work. Period. Whether they are fired or that $15-$60 dollars is the difference between gas in your car or walking to work. 1 hour missed can have a ripple effect on their ability to provide for themselves or their family.

However what we missed is that those same families who can barely afford to signup for basketball, also could not afford to miss an hour of work to take their kids to tryouts or practice. $30 signup turns into $45+ and then some for every hour they miss of work.

We have since made accommodations for later tryouts and practice but even that isn’t great on kids who are 7.

Was thinking more of the reparations current democrat candidates are supporting. But it should be fairly obvious that hiring quota’s or additional points given to minorities in college admissions hurt white people.

Umm no, I seriously doubt there is anyone out there who can not find an hour during business hours at some point over a period of months to go get an ID. If they do exist they are an infinitesimal percentage of the population. You are making up an imaginary demographic to support your position. You would have us believe there are people that have absolutely no discretionary income, they never go to starbucks, never buy beer, every single penny they have goes to rent and food? Missing one hour of work is going to destroy them, this person does not exist.

Simply wanting a national ID isn’t racist. What is racist is the justification for it. Just like in every voter ID case. Republicans can’t seem to get out their own way on this.

Make it “free” just like social security cards and make it a requirement for citizenship and I don’t think you’d have an issue.
