White house lawn car showroom

Trump did purchase the vehicle with his own money. His intention is to leave it at the WH so his staff can use it.

The MSM is lit up like a Christmas tree over this. I see it as much to do about nothing. It will quickly blow over, in favor of the next Trump media event that works LIBs up into a frothing frenzy.

Why do WH staff need access to a vehicle? The answer is they dont.

It’s another dog and pony show by a politician. This time to give Musk a helping hand with flogging Teslas.

I would love a Tesla so might enter the upcoming hannity competition to win one.

Sure he did. Sure it is.

So you are OK with tax payer funded infomercials that enrich government employees.

Good to know.

Don’t be such a party pooper.

He also confirmed that his new Tesla vehicle will be driven by White House staff, including communications advisor Margo Martin.

ā€œMy whole staff is so excited because I told them they’re going to safely use them, and they can’t believe it,ā€ Trump said. "Margo, she’s going to use it. They’re all going to be using it, and they’re going to have a good time using it. "

Sure he is. POTUS just did an infomercial for him.

Also, he has the ability to cut federal programs and could use that power to his companies advantage.

That’s incredible special treatment.

Are you seriously going to go there?

That grammar-lesson-of-the-day aside…

Each day, another hair-on-fire lib-storm.

It’s gonna be a long 4 years for them.

If Trump wants to buy a car fro WH staff to use thats his perogative. But why do they suddenly need a vehicle.

Does the WH even have an EV charger?

You know its going to be a target for idiots to deface. Its not like WH staff have security details or are we going to have Secret Service follow the WH car :grinning:.

Yeah its all a bit silly but good fun to talk about.

So, unless DOGE severs any and all contracts with every MUSK company, they are showing favoritism.

No one is saying they do.

But…

Simple enough to install one if they don’t.

Wouldn’t that same risk be out there for any Tesla? There will be nothing special about the WH Tesla.

Makes for an interesting thread. I anxiously await the next LIB trigger.

I’m surprised you don’t care about a government bureaucrat using his position and office to enrich himself.

Pretend? I am more than sure you can post evidence that proves your little accusations.

I must say I find this new found ā€œloveā€ for ethics by the left.

Hmmmmmmmmm.

A little puzzled as to wear they draw the line though.

Let’s see……

Killing millions of babies in the name of selfishness and irresponsibility ?

Perfectly ethical to the left.

Tossing millions of votes to install their substitute candidate?

Perfectly ethical to the left.

President lying to the American people about pardoning his kid and then giving him a decade long get out of jail free card?

Perfectly ethical to the left.

Lying to the American people about the green new deal and calling it the inflation reduction act?

Perfectly ethical to the left.

Dems lying to the American people about the mental state of the president for four year?

Perfectly ethical to the left.

The president hosting a parade of perverts upon the white house lawn?

Perfectly ethical to the left.

Park a bunch of cars on the white house lawn and have the nerve to buy one?

Faux poutrage and feigned indignation.

You guys become more of a joke every day.

Of course not. Just pointing out how faught with ethical challenges it is putting a man who takes Billions from the Federal government in charge of deciding who gets what from the federal government.

Surely you agree with that.
