Right. If the government still truly served “We the People”, neither of these perverts would be eligible for office. Oh wait, you’re only a pervert if you’re poor. My bad.

I don’t think there’s even a question regarding this…except if you’re placing politics before reality but the answer is Biden.
How quickly people forget 2016, when Republicans deemed it all fine and dandy to have a nominee for president who was on tape bragging about sexual assault.
That was the final nail in the coffin that got me to say goodbye to the Republican party forever.

Number one is not 100% corroborated so we don’t know she told her brother and the friend back then, number two is a problem, number three is irrelevant.
And Ford also told people about it…maybe not when it happened, but also long before she went public with it.
My opinion is what it was with Kavanaugh…it’s too late now to do anything about it. It these assaults both happened, in both Ford’s and Reade’s cases, I feel sorry for the victims…but there’s not going to be any evidence that moves this away from a he said she said unprovable case.
These should serve as bitter lessons that if a woman is assaulted, she has to report it immediately so as to have a chance of being able to obtain evidence against the assaulter.
27 years after the fact we are not going to be able to find anything that goes one way or the other.
Yes number three is not relevant.
And yes, Ford told people at least as early as 2016.
And by the way, that Ford’s dad supposedly said that is only from staff members at a club who supposedly overheard Blasey say that.
To my knowledge, Ralph Blasey has never confirmed he actually said that.

it is completely relevant. Her own father doesn’t believe her. In what world does one congratulate the father of the person who sexually assaulted one’s daughter for anything the guy does?
Sure she did.

Actually it is about both. It is about women trying to assert power in a domain where they typically have been silenced or shamed.
That’s why so many men double down on the silencing and shaming in these matters.

No, it isn’t. It is about political power for one party.
You believe Reade told her brother and a friend.
You don’t believe Ford told two of her friends.
No independent corroboration of either save that those who were told said they were told.
No difference factually…but you believe one and doubt the other.
Interesting.
And no…let’s just go with Ford’s father not believing her (even though, as I said, he’s never confirmed the reports from the staffers at Burning Tree).
It’s still irrelevant. Just because Ford’s dad doesn’t believe her doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

I believe Ford told people when Kavanaugh got on a short list.
I believe Reade told people shortly after it happened.
I believe Blasey knows his daughter has issues.
And these are beliefs and are all irrelevant to a factual understanding of what actually happened.
Ford told somebody as early as 2013, according to sworn affidavits from three of her friends.
Was Kavanaugh on the short list for SCOTUS in 2013?
good thread, needs more memes

Right.
Obama had just won a second term, so naturally that’s when Ford would start worrying Kavanaugh get on SCOTUS one day.
Fact is…you have nothing other than your personal opinion that Reade is more believable than Ford.
Which is fine.
Personally for me, at this moment, I think something happened to both of them but that proof is going to be hard to come by.
At least Reade has a chance…if a record of the complaint she says she filed with the Senate can be found, that’s a big piece of circumstantial evidence against Joe Biden.
Until then, her case against Biden is as weak as Ford’s was against Kavanaugh.
