You mean mainstream media reported something accurately? So whats the problem then?

One could draw that conclusion from the Yahoo report.

Undoubtedly. As you said, āIf someone is part of a group that organized a protest, why would that person drive into their own group?ā

AP, Yahoo āNewsā, New York Times. You know, the fake news experts.

Oh, I see claims made about Breitbart and such all the time. Not so much upset (maybe a little) as showing many of the mainstays of the left news are as bad or, more likely, worse.

In the same AP article you are complaining about they noted that in a separate incident someone in a truck ran over protesters without specifying that it was members of BLM that got run over.Seems pretty consistent to me.
On Thursday night, a protester was struck by a pickup truck during a march in Hollywood and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Los Angeles police said Friday the preliminary investigation found that the driver was attempting to maneuver through the crowd when protesters began beating the vehicle with sticks.
The driver was attempting to drive away from the situation when he struck the protester. The driver stopped several blocks away and cooperated with officers. He was released pending the outcome of the investigation.
NYTimes article says:
It was unclear whether they were part of the Caravan4Justice group or the counterprotest group because both groups had converged at the time, she said.
The news release from the police didnāt say either way.
Is it possible that the Daily Mail just made an assumption that they were Trump supporters whereas the other news sources wanted to play it safe and stick with known facts?

Not the same at all. You are comparing someone who was attacked who was trying to get away with someone who was using a car as a deadly weapon.
No, that article makes it very clear what the motive of the truck driver wasā¦to get away. And they were not charged.

ABC News made that same assumption on the basis of many members of the group carrying Trump flags.
I noticed that the Mail Online article by-line included the AP. And while it was published on Saturday it was updated yesterday. The AP story was also updated today.
The new version does include some new information.

Good for the AP. And yet the Yahoo old version is still there on the Yahoo site.
When Neal Boortz had his radio show, almost daily he would say āPlease donāt take my word for it. Do your homeworkā. And he stressed how important it was to look at multiple news outlets to get the whole story. As you point out, looking at multiple sources pretty much fills in the blanks.

Neither story tells the whole truth, but the first one appears to be deliberately deceptive. Most readers never get beyond the headline and possibly the first line of the story.
For examples of how statements can be factually correct but still not tell the truth consider these three sentences:
-
COVID-19 positive man dies on street after complaining of difficulty breathing.
-
Man dies with a lethal dose of fentanyl in his bloodstream before ambulance arrives.
-
Policeman faces homicide charges after kneeling on manās neck until he died.
All three are factually correct about the death of George Floyd, but they give much different impressions about what happened. In a complicated case, it is not possible to put all the information into the first sentence, but many stories never include all the relevant details.

Once again the MSM proves themselves to be sheople troughs, feeding their sheople what they want them to regurgibleetā¦plainā¦simpleā¦and constant.
The local article appears on its face to say the Trump supporters were protesting against police brutality.
Is that true?
