How many people died of Spanish Flu this year?
Yes they are…but the Moderna is more technologically advanced…more user friendly so to speak.

Explain please. I would really like to know what the difference is should I have the choice. I also have a daughter with significant food allergies … she could be at risk if a particular vaccine causes allergic reaction in some people.

Unknown, we don’t test for it.

The Moderna vaccine most importantly does not have to be super frozen. So in turn it does not have to be used in 3 to 5 days. It’s more stable. Also Modena has been working with mRNA vaccines and treatments for cancer for more than 10 years. There is a very excellent safety record for it.
Research it. I have previously posted some research but that was weeks and weeks ago. I would gladly take the Moderna vaccine in place of Phizer. Given the choice.
You have no possible way of showing that to be true.
Upwards of 75% of those dying this year with Covid were already in the end stage of their lives with 3 or more conditions contributing to their deaths besides Covid.
Fall and Winter respiratory disease have been naturally culling the weak among us for as long as man has existed.

Not exactly a surprise considering who’s dying from it. The old who are already dying from multiple chronic diseases who’s lives have already been extended well beyond their natural lifespan.
Yes they did. When Polio and Smallpox vaccines were first being tried a whole lot of folks were terrified at the thought of taking them.
The population had to be forced to take them starting with it being required that all kids get them in school.

Would you take the Phizer vaccine if not given the choice?
And what about the allergy aspect? Do you know anything about that?
I’m rather excited about this leap in progress with mRNA vaccines. It just seems to me to be the best way to prevent viral infections and probably a host of other maladies.

And for good reason. The Salk vaccine that was the first step to removing Polio from the “every parent’s nightmare” list, used “killed” virus to establish immunity, yet about 200 recipients contracted Polio from the vaccine. Percentage wise, that was very small compared to all who were injected, but the risk in the minds of parents was very real. Ironically, the Sabin oral vaccine that replaced the Salk vaccine used a weakened live virus to stimulate immunity, which one would think would have caused more reluctance to take it, but it didn’t. Apparently using sugar cubes as the transfer medium rather than a shot made the medicine go down easier.
Personally, every vaccine I have ever had, I have taken on the faith that the benefit greatly outweighs the risk. These new COVID vaccines are no different.
Same here even though I have reacted horribly to several of them including Smallpox and Cholera.
Every time I updated my shot records I was guaranteed 2-3 weeks of hell.

What sort of reactions did you have? Do you have any known allergies?
No known allergies. I became symptomatic with high fever, diarreha from the Cholera shot as well as my arm swelling like a football.
Similar response to Smallpox but more localized.
I was always told that I was in luck because reactions that strong guaranteed immunity down the road.
My understanding is that these allergic reactions have occurred only in people with severe anaphylaxis type allergies already and are minimal in their occurrence.
There’s no such thing as a mild case of anaphylaxis.
Lots of people are allergic to a few known components of various vaccines, most reactions are mild, not anaphylactic.

Interesting.
Do you react to the flu shot?
Not this year but usually I feel like I have a mild case for 7-10 days which is why I dread taking it but still do.

I think he meant people who suffer anaphylaxis reactions to other things, like bee stings, have mild, non-anaphylaxis reactions to the vaccine.
IOW, if your allergies cause anaphylaxis reactions, you might have a mild non-anaphylaxis reaction to the vaccine
At least, that is what I read. I am allergic to penicillin so I am curious about this stuff.

My doc always tells me there is no way to contract the flu from the flu shot, and that if someone gets sick from the flu shot, it’s just a matter of timing. Yet I know several people who report reactions like you.
shrug. Human body is a mystery.
I don’t get the flu, I get some mild flu line symptoms which indicate I’m definitely getting a strong reaction to the vaccine.
People claiming to have contracted it from the vaccine are probably having the same reaction but don’t know what it’s like to really, “get the flu”.
I have some mild body aches, headaches, low grade fever but nothing like a real case of “The Flu”.
