Where have all the Mueller avatars gone?

Democrats better find better candidates to make it happen

Oh…you’ve read the complete report?

it is true that republicans have quite the good candidate in Trump.

well, other than the adultery, cheating, bankruptcy and enriching himself from being a politician

As long as the average voter has a good job and money in their pocket, that is all they are concerned about.
Any democrat candidate who wants to appeal to that voter would be unappealing to the new democrat socialist party.

I am here- check my avatar.

Oh please, we both know better than that.

Same here. I’ve got the Mueller avatar

Mueller is cool…

And your incontrovertible information on the coverup? Links if you have them.

please and thank you.

One of the many reasons why its important to see the report…

“Did he express any expectation and interest in leaving the obstruction decision to Congress?” Leahy asked.

“Not that—he didn’t say that to me, no,” Barr replied.

“So he said the obstruction decision should be up to you?” Leahy pressed.

“He didn’t say that either,” Barr said. “But that’s generally how the Department of Justice works. Generally grand juries are to investigate crimes and a prosecutor’s role at the end of the day is binary. Are there charges or no charges, or is this a crime or not a crime.”

Why would he say that?? Or on the flip side put it in the report.

The rules Mueller was operating under called for a CONFIDENTIAL report to the Attorney General or Acting Attorney General.

Thats not the explanation Barr offered…

I know.

I’m asking you.

If the guidlines are to offer a CONFIDENTIAL report to the AG or AAG, why would Mueller expect congress to act on his report?

Why you asking me for? Clearly that is not the case or Barr could have simply said so, I mean you seem to putting it out there so matter a factly.

Instead he went on:

“It was the conclusion of a number of people including me and I am obviously the attorney general,” Barr replied. “It was also the conclusion of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.”

Barr asserted in an unsolicited 2018 memo sent to the Justice Department that Trump could not have obstructed justice in the Russia probe. Career DOJ ethics officials concluded that Barr did not need to recuse himself from this matter despite voicing his opinion on it last year, according to Wednesday’s testimony."

So the report did not exonerate Trump per Barr, yet Barr made the decision that Trump did not commit obstruction…

Does it make sense in YOUR mind, that Mueller would put in a CONFIDENTIAL report to the AG (or acting) that the decision shouldn’t be up to him (the office that appointed him AND can file criminal charges) or that it should be up to congress (that can’t file criminal charges).

Since we’re just speculating… is it against the ‘rules’ for the confidential report to contain recommendations, whatever they might be?

So you’re saying that you don’t care if the president has integrity or enriches himself by being a politician.

Didn’t you complain a lot about Obama being non presidential?

We wont know until the report is public, its probable that Mueller following DOJ guidelines left it up to the AG to decide criminal actions.

Which regardless of what the report states Barr’s mind was made up, this is laid bare by his not exonerated but not charged wish wash and his unsolicited opinion sent to DOJ.

Its also equally probable that the report does expose obstruction at which point congress may decide to take steps for impeachment.

None of your qualifiers like “Confidential” actually mean anything, as part of its oversight the Judiciary is entitled to the full report.

Give it a week Bob.

Although the Department of Justice makes final decisions on matters like this, we are expressing to Justice our view that no charges are appropriate in this case.
