Not saying that. In the OP there was a link to what I believe happened. I asked for alternative theories, but evidently other subjects interested them more.

I know nothing of the writings you refer to. My hypothesis connects modern UFO abduction accounts of DNA experiments, with angelic DNA manipulation during the Days of Noah.

The premise? These are the same entities, fallen angels are disguising themselves as Extraterrestrials.

But fallen angel technology would be very advanced. They don’t die, they had thousands of years to advance technologically. See what we have done just in the last 50 years, advancement is happening exponentially.

Angels likely built New Jerusalem. Nothing in the context indicates is not not a literal physical city:

2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.
(Rev. 21:2-3 NKJ)

I have no opinion regarding your research into those other books. Frankly, nothing apart from Scripture interests me at the moment.

When it comes to interpreting scripture, I am a “contextualist.” I learn all about the context of a statement, 99% of which is in the Bible itself with a look at the culture where it was written to see if there are relevant insights to be gained. But always to interpret the text as it was meant by the author.

Hope that helps.

Most people in the west, have not studied the more ancient histories from, India, which goes back 19,000 (to 26,000) yrs. minimum. There were 4 massive floods recorded in the histories and a number of droughts causing diasporas, including people later called “Jews.” that had been Brahmans, left the area when the flood occurred.

Numerous old words in the Hebrew and Aramaic can be traced to the ancient Indic languages and stories in the cosmology and myth were shared. They had the same deities and God. Same or closely the same stories.

The ancient Arya knew astronomy . They kept track of the sky movements and knew of precession of the Equinox. well before Egypt, Sumeria etc.

In the ancient writings, star positions are documented that are used to date things. These astronomical positions are imbedded in the originally oral texts corresponding to events in the famous writings. Western historians downplayed Indic histories—Max Mueller— said on his deathbed he was probably wrong.

The Vision of New Juruselum with angels is an archetypal vision from the Akasha. The number of potential visionary experiences is vast.

The texts I am referring to are scriptures

So God is kind of like Donald Trump, a liar.

I believe dinosaurs came and went like many other species. Isn’t it interesting however that some species of close to that era are still with us? Like gators and crocodile, snakes, sharks etc and many others? Isn’t it interesting that these survivors have not evolved into some new species after millions of years??
Also, if there was a life destroying flood, certainly many marine species survived, no?
I buy the Darwin concept as far as adaptation to environment goes but it seems to me that new species happen suddenly, no gradual changes involved, many missing links confirms this.
But I also believe that there is overcontrol of evolutionary life - doesn’t the Bible somewhere state that “the most highs rule in the kingdom of men”??
The implication is there is purpose to evolution, the purpose being to evolve intelligent beings that can use their higher intelligence to engage that cosmic mind that does the over controlling so that we can find our creator.
Any new species happen lately??
Anything new of a higher order may require a little wise eugenics imho. Mind over matter happens on all levels of being. Imho.

Continuously examine yourself and ask…is what I just did or said of The Light? If not, the liar and not His Son may be abiding in you.

So we can dispense with the “God created fossils to introduce doubt” hypothesis? We all are in agreement that it is invalid?

You have the same right now as then. Conclude as you will. What I said is what’s crossed my mind.

What is your conclusion about that thought?

There’s a part in the Bible where Jesus cast out demons so…did God create demons? If so, why?

Only one begging the question is you.

You’ve got “testing for truth” backwards.

You test scientific hypothesis by trying to prove them wrong.

You don’t look for ways to show your hypothesis is correct.

just answer the question.

Cause you been an ■■■■■■■ the whole thread

Answer the question. Alex literally asked what YOUR opinion was. You’ve been dodging the answer for days

I did. There are many things I don’t fully understand. I conclude that knowing or not knowing the answers do not affect my daily choices in this life so I don’t have to know at this time. They’ll be something I’ll ask about later.

Knowing the answer to that one would affect some of my choices. If what you propose is true, I would not worship such a god.

I wouldn’t want that on account of me so please ignore my post.

Ok…do you believe the creation story in Genesis was a literal six-day creation that took place anywhere from 6,000-13,000 years ago (I’ve seen this dates in this range chosen depending on how one chooses to view the “begats”)?

This quetsion should be easy for you to answer.

Yes. What I don’t know is whether the “day” mentioned is a 24 hour day?

Was I or was I not discussing the hypothesis Smyrna laid out?

Forgive me for not mentioning he was just “hypothesizing” in every single post on the subject, Mr. Thread Policeman.

Here’s what Smyrna said:

In the creation, I believe The Lord could very well have created fossils. His purpose was for their to be another potential, scientific explanation outside of what He has said in the Bible. This creates a potential path for doubt or faith.

His hypothesis: God created fossils.

Why did he create them? To allow for another potential, scientific explanation outside of what he said in the Bible.

What is the result of God creating this record? The potential path for doubt or faith.

Anyone who reads this as “God deliberately created evidence that would cause people to have doubts about what actually happened” is perfectly within is rights to do so. It is a perfectly reasonable translation of what Smyrna wrote.

Anyone (as I did) who read what Smyrna proposed as a “faith test” created by God (“will you remain faithful even with the evidence I created that seems to contradict how I told you I created the world?”) is PERFECTLY within his rights to do so.

Because there really is no other way to take what Smyrna proposed as a potential explanation. It’s not making up what he proposed…it’s WHAT HE PROPOSED.

Do you think it is a possibility or have you discarded the idea?

I’ve not changed my mind on the realm of possibilities due to the negative responses here.
