I had assumed that the Trump campaign still had a considerable financial edge but as of now from what is known it’s even to possibly Biden having an edge. Biden has a massive $365 mil effort raised for August, the Trump campaign hasn’t released its numbers yet.

Of over $1.21 billion raised, $800 million of that was spent y last month. The campaign is cutting way back on ad buys and giving up on some and there seems to be a lack of agreement on a lot things including the financial shape of the campaign and where the money will be coming from.

As the article notes, a lot of that $800 mil was flushed a long time ago and to spend that kind of money and be 10 pts down speaks to not having any sort of coherent plan.

From what I understand, a significant amount of that money went towards building Parscale’s Death Star.

That article is stunning. The wasted money, the recklessness, the hubris, the grifting, the racing to spend campaign cash on Trump properties. Nasty and sick. Disgusting.

He’s your guy, cons!

Once again NY Slime has lied.

You have to admit that would be cool if the US had a Death Star. I would imagine every trade deal would go more smoothly.

Yeah, when I saw an anti Trump piece in the NYTs my first thought wasn’t “This must all be true, this must be the whole story”.

Where’s the lie? All you’ve done there is confirm the numbers.

That’s a “This doesn’t sound good, I don’t want to believe it” reaction.

Parscale has steered about $40 million to Parscale owned companies. It’s possible that he’s the real grifter and Trump is the mark. No easier mark than a con man; Parscale is just better at it maybe.

The number that really stood out to me was that of the $800 million spent, $350 million of that was on fundraising.

That’s some expensive money.

$21 million actually spent on legal costs, hiding Trumps taxes and “business” activity.

That’s kind of poetic after all the “Obama spent $2 million hiding his records!” lies.

They say how you run your campaign is how you’ll run the country. Based on Trumps performance to date and how the campaign is being run, that appears to be holding true.

The NYTs cares about how well Trump supporters money is spent. About as much as they care about what people say about veterans.

It’s news. Are you now looking to see if reporting cares about the subject? Lol. It’s also verifiable.

That’s a genuinely strange take. To report on something you have to care about it?

I think it newsworthy that the huge financial advantage the Trump campaign had has evaporated .

I’m also now curious why they haven’t reported for August after the Biden campaign reported $365 million.

Is it because it’s taking extra time to count those huge wheelbarrows of money, or is it because the money Trump has been endowed with isn’t measuring up and he feels shame over it?

Well now we know why Team Trump is stopping ads in the battle ground state of Arizona.

Trump told us openly what his plan was.

“It’s very possible that I could be the first presidential candidate to run and make money on it.”

Indeed. And all of the lavish parties and events that accompanied its development. Along with a few cars and boats and houses, of course.

This post is funny.

But I thought Trump was really rich. Can’t he make up any differences out of pocket without batting an eye?
