I know… but I am not the one who made the complaint about rising housing costs… am I?
It seems that the complaint was made to cast aspersions on the President when the effect is known and has little to do with his policies.
In fact it seems that one of the contributing factors is something that you are totally fine with… so… what’s the complaint again?

Oh no, not just Biden, fed has been pumping the market longer than that. lot longer, started under Obama. Now you will be competing with all the cash the people in the market raked in.
Yes indeed. No mystery that when the price of oil goes up, the price of gas goes up and oil companies do well. That’s good for that industry.

Well… we did have a major economic crises when Obama came into office that took quite a few years to sort out.
And the last President would have hissy fits anytime the Fed would even think of raising Interest Rates.
I have said for quite a while now… you can go and look back on it… that interest rates should slowly go up to a sustainable level and the Fed needs to unwind from Infinite QE.
Hasn’t some inflation occurred every time we come out of recession? I’ll grant this is more than usual.
Retirement savings is over the course of a 30 year career. A year or two of inflation isn’t going to make a difference.

And you think lining rich wall street investors pockets with gobs of cash was the answer to that crisis? Odd. I opposed it. Even though I stood to and did profit handsomely from it. So again, thanks.

I’m embracing the fed tapering on bond buying as the economy continues to expand and rates have remained too low for too long.
Why should we be using the deficit to buy bonds at this time?
Agree that the supply chain is ■■■■■■■ My industry is struggling with that, but we are booming in spite of it.

How does it compare to pre-pandemic levels?

And the pandemic goes right into the memory hole…
BTW, trump endorsed the lockdowns.

Six is too afraid to answer, so maybe you can…
If this is not the right time to taper federal purchasing of bonds, what is?
