When will we stop tolerating incompetence from our government and law enforcement?

They caught a fentanyl mule, carrying a record haul of fentanyl.

They let him go, hoping he would lead them to some kingpin.

The guy ditched the people tailing him, and removed the tracker from his car.

Just … SMH.

Some glory seeking supervisor thought this was a good idea. If they were going to make a move like this, you pack his car in an 18 wheeler and drive it and him there, all the while holding him in seclusion monitoring his burn phone number, which he would not have possession of. Then when there, set up a proper team and make the bust. This crape was mickey mouse, and that is speaking poorly of the mouse.

had agreed to cooperate but somewhere on the open road he changed his mind, took it off, and fled,

Good people are blocked at every turn for now and it will probably be a lot worse before it improves.

Watch the stooges get behind Gavin Newsom to run for POTUS. LOL Brandon is done as far as his usefulness except for pardons. They will blame Brandon for everything that has gone wrong. Gavin must the next scapegoat they are preparing to take the blame for what else they plan to do. Throwaways. Not a compliment.

Or the police got paid off and went through the motions of a failed sting.

Corruption and incompetence frequently look the same.

My guess is that the mule is dead meat, no matter what.

Show up and rat out the kingpin? Good luck with that.

Don’t show up because you failed to deliver one of the largest fentanyl shipments ever? Not gonna end well.

But did he also get away with the fentanyl?

from op link

But the court documents say Maldonado did not stick to the plan – that the very next day, β€œon the way to doing a controlled delivery of the fentanyl, he fled from the DEA, eluded DEA surveillance and removed the tracker from his vehicle.”

Enroute to a controlled delivery. Sure sounds like the drugs flew away with the mule.

And yet they announced a seizure with great fanfare without mentioning it went bye bye with the perp.

Almost like an episode of Reno 911

Many will be poisoned with this fentanyl.

Time to treat it as a weapon of mass destruction.

Well the US Department of Justice and the coward and chump Merrick Garland allow this type of criminality to go unpunished. What do you expect?

Reminiscent of Obama/Holder gun running.

Only even more incompetent.

Why would the FBI/DOJ go after their own operatives?
