When Trump pardons Manafort, will the Trump supporters here

…care? Support it? Or not?

The few who do comment will either laugh about it because it bothers liberals or claim it is technically legal, and therefore fine.

I mean, we all know he will, and we all know that any remaining Republicans are either spineless pissants who will say they’re “concerned”, or full on MAGA cultists who will celebrate the victory against “Liberals”, and both will ultimately do nothing about the blatant abuse of power and corruption, so… yes?

If he’s guilty of tax evasion, then a pardon would not be appropriate.

According to the Constitution our support isn’t necessary.
Neither is yours.

Trump has already told them he’s innocent and just being railroaded. A pardon is simply correcting the record, regardless of what actual investigations and trials come up with.

If it’s a guilty verdict “oh hell yeah” Trump better pardon him since Mueller only resurrected the 13 year old charge to punish Manafort for his brief involvement with the Trump campaign, the Judge knows it and I hope the jury realizes it so a pardon won’t be necessary.

Thank you for proving the threads thesis.

Hey, he’ll be like the Trumpublican version of Nelson Mandela. Free Manafort!

Don’t care one way or the other.

Pardon the swamp!

None of this is true, and even if it were, he committed witness tampering a few months ago with his boy Konstantin Kilimnik. So you’ve got that reality to also look forward to.

What if he’s convicted on the charges covering actions from 2015 to 2017?

Interesting question.

Will Trump pardon him for just the charges in this trial?

Or will he also pardon him for the actions in the upcoming conspiracy against the United States charges?

If just the former, will he have to pardon him again for the latter?

If he pardons him for the latter, Manafort won’t have any more 5th amendment protection on the conspiracy charges. How’s he going to protect Trump without the ability to say no to answering questions?

I don’t think Trump will pardon him.

Lol.

Would you think he did the right thing?

Lol.

So, even though he committed the crimes in teh eyes of the jury he should be pardoned because…why exactly?

More defense mechanisms.

The constitution gives a president unlimited pardoning powers. He doesn’t have to explain it. Why should any of us be asked to explain it?

Incorrect. Only federal charges not state, so that is a limit.
