In comparison to? What does Medi Share have to do with government?

It’s an example of the leverage that sharing costs provides participants. There’s no reason why a government program couldn’t employ that same leverage. It would have even more.

There is a reason - it’s the government. They screw up everything they touch.

The foibles of our government in healthcare seem to be unique among our economic peers. We have working examples how to not screw it up–but animosity between participating cultures gets in the way.

Add to that by virtue of being a “government program” there is force of govt behind participation and contribution. It is not voluntary like Medi-share.

Here’s the answer. When the impoverished class significantly outnumbers the middleclass. When that happens the impoverished class can elect people who will tax the middleclass out of existence and hence income equality will be realized!
