Every impeachment since the founding of our country has been done for political purposes

baloney. it was done where there were real crimes and impeachable offenses.

otherwise every time majority in house would dream up nonsense articles and impeach.

this sadly is the precedent the worthless dems have now established. the very one the founders warned against. abusing it for political purposes

seems they foresaw such treachery.

I think the founders would be shocked that the impeachment process has only been invoked a few times. I think it should be much more common.

Hunter was definitely appointed to the Burisma board because his dad was V.P. Either they had a deal or were trying to get one. Everybody knows this. Any other explanation defies logic. Making Hunter testify brings more attention to this fact and will certainly hurt Joe in the election. That’s why they bring Hunter in. It’s about winning. Plain and simple.

It’s my understanding that they wanted to find the best strip joints and the best drugs and it was determined that Hunter Biden was hands down the best man for the job!

Hunter testifying would be a win for Trump and republicans because it would show that Trump’s concerns about corruption were justified, but it would prolong the agony of listening to Schiff and co gas lighting and waste Senate time which could be being used to improve the state of the nation.

No new witnesses would be a win for Trump and Republicans because the Democrats never had sufficient evidence to justify impeaching Trump.

There is some diversity of opinion among Republicans as to how they want to win this one.
