Which is why Abbott canceled elective surgeries.

No problems with Hospitals.

You are right. It’s Alabama that’s on the verge of collapse. Texas has suspended all elective surgeries because they’re expecting a huge need for them.

Why are you optimistic at all?

If there’s not going to be a vaccine, what’s the course of action?

Not all. In 4 counties out of 254.

Our governor is doing it right.

This is what my governor did and you said he was doing it wrong back then. What’s changed. Is it that it’s where you live.

And we say this in the name of the dollar, the greed and the arrogance… Amen

Oh and what percentage of Texas’s population is in those four counties.

No, I don’t think it is going to be an economic boon. I think it is going to be marginal economic survival.

What do you feel like is going to happen when the northeast opens back up?

Exactly. TAke away the big cities in Texas and you got more cattle than people.

Probably 95%. Same with the cases. What’s your point?

2% mortality. About the same chances of driving my car. I guess that means we should stop driving then?

And a much better world.

I guess we shall find out shortly.

Jersey is opening back up.

July 4th at the horse racing track.

I will be there. 25% capacity.

Masks and social distancing are mandatory.

Casinos also opening. AC is happy.

I hate to break this to you but my state is pretty much opened up, short of social distancing, occupancy limits and masks in businesses. We flattened the curve like the whole point was supposed to be.

You guys decided you’d rather wait until it got you. ¯_(ツ)_/¯.

Which is your state?

We’ll see.

You’re trying to make it sound like a small thing when it is a big thing which, I remind you, is how we ended up here in the first place.

I’m not trying to make anything. We quarantine the sick, not the healthy.

You seem to feel you can stop people from testing positive.

Pennsylvania. You know that.

Also, I said this would happen to Texas if you didn’t button down, so we have seen on my end.

Another expert. Tell you what, I’m going to go ahead and hope that something viable comes along. Good news is that I suffer not from the need to socialize indoors for hours on end. I can continue to work successfully from home indefinitely. Life is good. Ride my bike, play golf, take out from my favorite restaurants and entertain at a distance on my patio. With any luck, I’ll visit Colorado next summer and hike and climb mountains since I was doing from age 10. But I am pushing 70 and have high blood pressure. I hope to die from something else than Covid-19. But you never know.

Yes I forgot you’re the only person in the world with real medical training who believes that modern medicine’s only answer is “all we can do is hope.”
