It’s not me that needs to demonstrate anything. The science has done that for me.
And not a single person has presented any reputable science that gives a convincing reason to the contrary.
I told my daughter this back on June 2. She voted and they gave her this hokey looking KN-95. She said look dad I got this good mask. I said to her, hon…KN-95 means it’s kinda like an N-95…but not. She threw it away. LOL
Silly. You know. Don’t play coy. We all know your medical background.

Ish…was this on Amazon?
I have learned a thing or two about Amazon. When buying masks and other PPE or medical equipment…only buy it if it says Prime. And only buy it if it comes in two to three days. Because the shipper is here in the US and it generally is more up to standards. I bought some masks from some place because they were a reasonable price, and when they did not show up two weeks later, Amazon refunded my money…and then two days later they showed up.

I’m going to need an explanation of why not, you owe it to me.
Science has not demonstrated that you know what proper mask use consists of.
Like you haven’t presented any reputable proof that gives a convincing answer that you know what proper mask use consists of. Quite the contrary.

Ahhhh… mon dieu…
I have ozone generators- four actually - that I use for incoming packages and mail.
For N95 masks, the fiber material and density are important. You know how good ozone is as an oxidizer, right. So research has shown that ozone will weaken the strength of the N95 mask fibers. Hydrogen peroxide vaporization does not share that problem.
To be honest, I am being prepared for something worse that covid-19. I am not minimizing the risk of Covid-19 to myself… but I am more concerned about what might follow. That is why I purchased an ultrasonic “mist” transducer to put in hydrogen peroxide. I am busy prepping for other SHTF scenarios and everything has cost and I need to prioritize…So I only have the regular drugstore strength of hydrogen peroxide right now. I think the higher concentrations would be better but believe that the weaker solutions will work too. I have about 10 replacement filters each for my N95s and figure that if it is every REALLY needed, 10 might not be enough… As is, I’ve never gone out on public with my N95.

You don’t know anything about me.

You continue to keep going back to this weird fascination with me on a personal basis. Is everything okay?
I’ve said to not believe me. Believe the science. How I wear my mask (properly, I might add) does not negate or refute the science of proper mask wearing technique or mask wearing while in public to help protect yourself and others.
At least you agree that there is not any available science that anyone can point to which is contrary to the notion that wearing a mask, properly, is the best course of action! Common ground is awesome.
Keep wearing your masks in public folks. And as Sneaky is making clear, do it properly as well!
I did know that, and this is why I only used the N-95 when I was going into homes where I had sick people. So it was only used a few times…and I only ozoned it a few times. And I have a few of them now. My other masks are cloth or hospital masks…so the hospital masks I usually use once or twice and ozone them once or twice and then throw them away.
I am looking into getting a UV-C box, for masks, cell phones and things like that. Which I also hear is effective for disinfecting things…OUTSIDE THE BODY
Only what you have been gracious enough to share over the years. Are you suggesting you do not have any medical knowledge in your background? If I am mistaken, feel free to correct me. If not, then I believe what I’ve said is accurate. But my apologies if not.

what does something like that cost?

I think we can all see that’s (parenthesis) not the case.
Any comments on the new CDC numbers? The 20 million?
Have you been making stuff up about you?
I’ll keep that in mind.

you and I have similar observations about Amazon. But no …I don’t know if there is some violation of rules if we post the name of companies that we accuse of negligence. So I won’t post it. I just won’t purchase any KN95s right now. Even if there are reputable chinese company names, there are counterfeiters.
As far as chinese products in general…
All my ozone generators and UV lights are chinese. I have some concerns about the 254 nm lamps but 254 nm detectors to check the lamps are pricy. I do want to get one someday. The regular masks and gloves are chinese too. To be fair…even those orders I canceled after waiting months… eventually were delivered. So now I have lots… FWIW. The gloves will be good for household work and dirty greasy work. Nitrile.
Okay.
Again folks, this is not about me or my techniques. This is about our country and the science. The science is in, and none to the contrary can be presented by nary a soul here. Wear your masks! Wear them the right way!
Hopefully we are closer to herd immunity than previously thought. That is a good thing. I sincerely hope that a lot of these people do not have any life-long complications from their survival of this horrific virus.

Know being the key word.
It is good to know I was not mistaken. Thanks for the confirmation!
