I love that Trump is trying to extort 5.7 billion out of taxpayers on the backs of food stamp recipients and essential TSA workers who are now secretly striking. Folks its gonna get ugly.

These people really have no clue what they are doing, or what the impact will be on average Americans.

The Department of Housing and Urban Development sent letters to 1,500 landlords Friday as part of a last-minute effort to prevent the eviction of thousands of tenants. A lot of those tenants live in units covered by a HUD program that many agency officials didn’t realize had expired on Jan. 1 and that they are now unable to renew.

Shocking that the Ben Carson-led HUD didn’t know this program expired on 01/01/19. Lol

In a statement Sunday, National Park Service Deputy Director P. Daniel Smith acknowledged that the administration’s practice of keeping understaffed parks open now threatens to degrade some of its most beloved sites.

“As the lapse in appropriations continues, it has become clear that highly visited parks with limited staff have urgent needs that cannot be addressed solely through the generosity of our partners,” Smith said.

At least seven people have died at national park sites since the shutdown began, including a man at Yosemite National Park who illegally brought his dog on a trail and subsequently fell. At Point Reyes National Seashore north of San Francisco, the buildup of human waste became so severe that officials closed the park because of public health concerns. At Joshua Tree National Park, authorities shut campgrounds after determining that illegal off-road driving had damaged the park’s resources.

The mass call outs could inevitably mean air travel is less secure, especially as the shutdown enters its second week with no clear end to the political stalemate in sight.

I’m glad I don’t have to fly right now. Hopefully nothing bad happens.

Wow. This could lead to an “invasion” of undocumented people coming by air. Talk about unintended consequences.

that he’s smart enough to keep putting out the most important payments
to people, such as food stamps, social security(welfare), and certain parts of the government
people. If not, then, he’s a lot more stupid than what I thought he was.

But at least I can admit that.

There is no legal way for the administration to pay for anything that does not have funds appropriated.

The facts are there for everyone to see for themselves. Ben Carson may be a great surgeon/doctor. But he is a horrible administrator of HUD. His incompetence will potentially cost many average Americans as a result too.
